The firm’s client had alleged that she was sexually assaulted by a former resident of a group home at which she had been residing. When the girl’s parents retained Wade & Silverstein, the firm stated that the sexually assault had occurred because the group home provider had failed to provide proper security and training of its employees. The firm then filed a lawsuit against the group home provider and vowed to achieve victory on behalf of the young girl. On Friday, the firm announced that a confidential settlement had been reached and that the firm was extremely happy with the result.
